Processing your lead files is very easy. We have an automated mapping process so you only have to map your lead file once and then you can just upload it directly through leadQC.com. These are the steps for uploading leads in batch. We have another document which covers calling our web service for real time processing. Step 1: Build a CSV template (you only have to do this step once) Open your lead file in Excel. Do a search and remove for commas to remove all commas from your file. Save your lead file in Excel as a .csv file (comma delimited file) and make sure you have a header row with at least the following fields: name (or first name and last name), address, city, state, zip code, phone, and IP address (where the lead filled out the form, not required, but very helpful). Log into your leadQC account and click on CSV Templates. Click on "Add New Template" and then upload your lead file. Our system will then attempt to map all of your field names. An easy wizard allows you to set and adjust fields. You now have a template! If you are a lead broker and you receive lead files in different formats from different sources then you can create as many templates as you like. Step 2: Upload your lead file Open your lead file in Excel. Do a search and remove for commas to remove all commas from your file. Save your lead file in Excel as a .csv file and make sure you have a header row. Log into your leadQC account and click on "Convert File." Upload your lead file to leadQC through the web uploader. Our system will check your balance and ask you if you are sure you want to process this file. Once you click ok, leadQC will start processing your lead file. It can take up to 5 seconds per lead and you will receive an email when the processing has completed. Step 3: Download the completed file Once processing has completed you can log into your leadQC account and download your processed file. The processed file looks identical to the file you uploaded with the addition of a few columns at the end of the file for Score, Accept/Reject, and Log ID. At this point you can either continue on to Step 4 or just take your file and go about your business! Step 4: Reviewing results If you would like to see why leadQC scored each lead the way it did, you can click on the "Results" link in your account and then view the details of every lead processed. Was the IP in another country? Was there an alternate name given for the phone number? Does the area code not match the location of the address? All of this can be reviewed in this section. There are also a few tools in this section to help you review the lead yourself (two reverse white pages links that may have data we do not have direct access to in the scoring system for example). Step 5: Done! The entire process, not including the time leadQC takes to process the leads, takes less that 2 minutes!
